Love
Green
From Look! We Have Come Through! (1917)
LoveNature
The dawn was apple-green,
The sky was green wine held up in the sun,
The moon was a golden petal between.
She opened her eyes, and green
They shone, clear like flowers undone
For the first time, now for the first time seen.

Codex Note
Seven lines: the dawn is apple-green, the sky green wine, the moon a golden petal, and the woman opens her eyes, and they too shine green.
