David Gam

by Owain Glyndŵr c. 1354–1416

Translated by George Borrow (Welsh Poems and Ballads, 1915) · From Welsh Poems and Ballads (1915)

Living

Asking about his dwelling fair,
Tell him it under the bank doth lie,
And its brow the mark of the coal doth bear.
