From The Nipping and Snipping of Abuses (1614)

Arts & Sciences

I Vnderstand or know no foraigne tongue,
But their translations I doe much admire:
Much art, much paines, much study doth belong,
And (at the least) regard should be their hyre.
But yet I would the French had held togither
And kept their pox, and not translate them hither.
