Love

Song

by Tsang Chih 6th century AD

Translated by Arthur Waley (1918) · From A Hundred and Seventy Chinese Poems (1918)

Love

I was brought up under the Stone Castle:
My window opened on to the castle tower.
In the castle were beautiful young men
Who waved to me as they went in and out.
