Hymns for Children, 103

Religion

Meet and right it is that I
Should my Maker glorify;
Born for this alone I am,
God to praise, through Jesu's name
Author of my life, receive
Praise the best a child can give.

Teach me, as I older grow,
Thee in Christ aright to know;
That I may Thy blessings prize.
Bring Thee, Jesus, sacrifice,
Thee with understanding praise,
Love, and serve Thee all my days.
