Genesis 8:21: Father, if Thou my Father art
From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 9 (1870)
Religion
Father, if Thou my Father art.
If Jesus made my sins His own,
Speak it into my listening heart,
Assure me that I am Thy son.
Comfort and rest in Christ restore.
And vow to curse this earth no more.
