Death & Dying
Exodus 10:17: Take away this death
From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 9 (1870)
Death & Dying
Alas, when seeming to repent.
My first concern has been
How to escape the punishment,
More than the guilt of sin!
But now, O God, for grace I pray,
For more than life I cry,
O take this death of sin away,
And let my body die!
