Arm'd with Jesu's two-edged sword
We now His charge fulfil,
All the' inhabitants abhorr'd
Of cursed Canaan kill;
Mercy, Lord, we will not show,
But execute Thy righteous mind,
Root and branch destroy the foe,
Nor leave a sin behind.
