Joshua 20:8: Who to Thy wounds for refuge flee

by Charles Wesley 1707–1788

From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 9 (1870)

Religion

Who to Thy wounds for refuge flee,
Pardon'd we glory, Lord, in Thee,
With ecstasies unknown,
Fulness of joy in Thee possess,
And lodged within Thine arms confess
That Thou and heaven are one.
