Psalm 81:10: Give me that enlarged desire
From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 9 (1870)
Religion
Give me that enlarged desire.
And open, Lord, my soul,
Thy own fulness to require.
And comprehend the whole;
Stretch my faith's capacity
Wider, and yet wider still.
Then with all that is in Thee
My soul for ever fill.
Psalm Ixxx. 3 — Ixxxviii. 8.
