Psalm 144:9: Glory and thanks to Him belongs
From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 9 (1870)
Religion
Glory and thanks to Him belongs
Who left His throne above,
The new, the gospel-song of songs
Is due to Jesu's love:
Join all on earth in Jesu's praise.
And then to heaven repair,
To vie with the angelic race,
Or m.end their anthems there.
