Expecting now to be restored,
And led by our redeeming Lord,
We through the pathless desert go,
Refresh'd, as in the ancient days,
With living streams of gospel-grace
Which from the Rock of Ages flow.

We seek the " esv Jerusalem,
Till marching on in Jesu's name
The liitw Jemsale??! we meet;
That mother of us all descends,
And shouting with our heavenly friends
We find in Christ our joy complete.
