Wherefore thy gates shall open stand,
By day and night immensely wide,
To' admit the crowds from every land,
The Gentile world's inflowing tide:
The nations shall in Christ believe.
Their kings thy willing converts be.
And brought within thy walls, receive
Their highest dignity from thee.
