What numbers call the Saviour Lord,
Spiritual guides in their own eyes.
Who slight His sanctifying word,
Nor see their holy calling's prize!
The perfect love they cannot gain,
"With sin's remains they cannot part,"
The' inherent righteousness attain,
The real purity of heart.
