Jesus the King of earth and heaven
Returning from His realms below.
The gifts by His great Father given
Did on His servants here bestow:
He put His goods into their hands,
In trust to be for Him employ'd.
And faithful to their Lord's commands,
Bade all improve the gifts of God.
