John 6:45: Taught of Himself my God to fear
From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 11 (1871)
Religion
Taught of Himself my God to fear,
Jesus, Thy Father's voice I hear.
The softly whispering grace,
Which bids me come as lost to Thee
For wisdom, peace, and liberty.
For life and righteousness.
