John 19:5: Sinner behold what thou hast done

Religion

Sinner behold what thou hast done!
Exposed thy King to grief unknown,
To anguish and disgrace:
Thy sins have cover'd Him with scorn,
Thy sins have crown'd His head with thorn,
And marr'd His heavenly face.

Yet in that Man deform'd for Thee
The Fulness of the Godhead see,
That Man of grief and love
The Lord, thy Lord and God confess,
Who, by His blood and righteousness,
Hath bought thy crown above.
