Albert Giraud

1860–1929

Albert Giraud (born Marie Émile Albert Kayenbergh at Louvain, 23 June 1860; died Schaerbeek, 26 December 1929) was a Belgian Symbolist poet writing in French.

Jethro Bithell's 1911 anthology classes him as a Fleming and names him first among the chief Parnassians, those who cling to the traditional forms of French verse.
