Asclepiades of Samos

fl. c. 290 BC

Asclepiades of Samos was a Hellenistic epigrammatist of the early third century BC. He is counted among the poets who shaped the short Greek love poem, and Meleager's Garland drew heavily on his work.

The poems collected here are the epigrams that Paton's first volume ascribes to him, chiefly in Book V.
