Heinrich von Mügeln

Heinrich von Mügeln, a poet from the Meissen region who worked at the court of the Emperor Charles IV, was one of the last writers in the minnesong tradition.

One of his songs appears here in Frank C. Nicholson’s translation, Old German Love Songs (1907), made from the minnesingers of the twelfth to fourteenth centuries.
