Teig Dall O'Higgin

Teig Dall O'Higgin was the bard of Brian O'Rourke “of the Bulwarks”, and is dated in Eleanor Hull's The Poem-Book of the Gael to about 1566.

His address to O'Rourke, urging him to rise against the English, is given here in the English version printed in Hull's anthology (London, 1913), where no other translator is named.
