Mythology & Folklore

Brihaspati and Savitar prepare a rope to bind you fast!
Let Bhaga, Mitra, Aryaman, and both the Asvins make the bond.

I bind together all of them, the first, the last, the middlemost.
Indra hath girded these with cord: bind them together, Agni, thou!

Those yonder who approach to fight, with banners raised along their ranks, Indra hath girded these with cord: bind them together, Agni, thou!
