The Shrewd Lad of Cooloo

by Mary Mapes Dodge 1831–1905

From Rhymes and Jingles (1875)

Living

Who thought baby's tooth wasn't through.
Says he, "Though I doubt,
I'se a-gwine to find out."
And he did--that shrewd lad of Cooloo.
