Religion

My Mother thou; thy sucking babe am I:
Feed me with love, my Pandurang, I cry.

I am the calf with thee the mother cow;
Thy milk, my Pandurang, withold not now.

I am thy fawn, the mother doe thou art;
Rend the world's snare, my Pandurang, apart.

Thou mother bird and I among thy brood;
O fly, my Pandurang, and bring me food.

Ah, heart's beloved, hear thy Nama say,
On every side thou hedgest up my way.
