Social Commentaries

No more with empty phrase and speeches fine
Seek to delude mé, let your heart be mine:
Your friendship or your enmity declare
In a decided form, open and fair:
An enemy disguis’d, a friend in show,
—I like him better, Kurnus, as a foe.
