Matthew 25:41: Prepared for the devil and his angels
From Short Hymns on Select Passages of the Holy Scriptures (1762) · Osborn ed., vol. 10 (1871)
Religion
Not for the wretched sons of men
Was Tophet first prepared,
Intruders into hellish pain.
They snatch the fiends' reward:
If just, as well as good. Thou art,
Thy vengeance they require,
And force Thee, Lord, to say, Depart
Into eternal fire!"
