Li I
Li I, who died in AD 827, was a T’ang poet. His poem here is the lament of a favourite who has lost the Emperor’s attention.
The poems here are Herbert A. Giles’s versions in Chinese Poetry in English Verse (1898), given with the poet’s name as spelled in that book.
