Ephemeris IV. — Going Out

by Decimus Magnus Ausonius c. AD 310 – c. 395

Translated by Hugh G. Evelyn-White (1919–21) · From Book II. — The Daily Round

Living

But since the sun for four full hours has urged on his steeds and now verges towards noon, I needs must speak a word with Sosias.
