The Pope; when tender health her infant sense,
Receiueth from the now approaching Sunne.
And new borne blood of heauens influence:
With prime of life to blossome hath begunne.
Forbids all flesh and sweeter nutriment,
Which sappy Nature to lifes roote would laye.
Yea he forbids meates most indifferent.
Egs, cheese, butter and milke, and all saue hey.
He not content, false wolfe, (as others doe)
To kill the soule, would kill the body to.
