Nature

Glamorgan

by Dafydd ap Gwilym c. 1315/20–c. 1350/70

Translated by George Borrow (Welsh Poems and Ballads, 1915) · From Welsh Poems and Ballads (1915)

Nature

If every strand oppression strong
Should arm against the son of song,
The weary wight would find, I ween,
A welcome in Glamorgan green.
