Reinmar von Zweter

Reinmar von Zweter, a Rhinelander who worked at Vienna and at the Bohemian court of King Wenzel I, was a leading Spruchdichter of the thirteenth century.

Ten of his songs appear here in Frank C. Nicholson’s translation, Old German Love Songs (1907), made from the minnesingers of the twelfth to fourteenth centuries.
