Time & Brevity
Now is wele and all thing aright
From Early English Lyrics (1907)
Now is wele and all thing aright
And Crist is come as a trew knight,
For our broder is king of might,
The fend to fleme and all his.
Thus the feend is put to flight,
And all his boost abated is.
Sithen it is wele, wele we do,
For there is none but one of two,
Heven to gete or heven forgo;
Oder mene none there is.
I counsaill you, sin it is so,
That ye wele do to win you bliss.
Now is wele and all is wele,
And right wele, so have I bliss;
And sithen all thing is so wele,
I rede we do no more amiss.
