The Mind
Yarı Yol
From Piyale (1926). Original Turkish text.
The MindNature

Dalların zirvesindeyiz ancak
Yarı yoldan ziyâde yerden uzak.
Yarı yoldan ziyâde mâha yakın.

Codex Note
The title means 'Halfway'. A quatrain in which the speakers, at the tops of the branches, are more than halfway from the earth and nearer to the moon.
